The film is intertwined with two stories. The first is “The Duma about the Three Brothers of Azov,” the literary basis of which dates from the 16th century. The second is “The Song of the Dervish about the Three Valiant Mamluks”, from the epos of the Turkic peoples that lives among the Crimean Tatars. According to the Tatar legend, when the Cradle falls into the hands of strangers - the Tatars lose their power, their people crumble, the clan is interrupted.
